Food, drinks and a good cause drew a crowd of about 350 to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame on Saturday night. Longmeadow UNICO’s 19th annual Food, Wine, Beer and Spirit Tasting fundraiser featured more than a dozen varieties of wine, beer from four Bay State breweries and food from more than 20 local restaurants and bakeries.
The event also featured a silent auction with a chance to win a variety of prizes, and live entertainment by singer and guitarist John Manzi. It is the biggest fundraiser for the nonprofit organization, which helps support programs for educational scholarships, mental health, community support and Italian culture.
