The journey from ice rink to pageant stage is not one you hear about often. Yet Reading’s Gabriella DeCologero found herself following that unusual path this fall.

A sophomore majoring in business marketing at Endicott College, DeCologero finished in the top 15 of approximately 70 18- to 27-year-old contestants participating in the Miss Massachusetts 2018 pageant, a qualifying event for the 2018 Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants. The pageant was held on Nov. 18 and 19 in Lowell.
