The Indiana community will be getting a taste of Italy later this summer when it hosts its first Italian Festival on Aug. 19. The festival promises to be a fun, family centered event that will generate funds and donations for the Teddy Bear Fund Drive.

The festival has permission to set up on the west end of Philadelphia street, from 10th Street down to the railroad tracks. This will not only be the first Italian festival, but the first festival to take place on that part of Philadelphia Street.
