My name is Frank Lorenzo. I am an Executive Board Member of the Italian American One Voice Coalition (www.iaovc.org). The Italian American One Voice Coalition is a nationwide group whose mission is to combat negative stereotypes of Italian Americans in the media and to defend our heritage.
The Italian-American residents of Massachusetts have a fundamental liberty interest and equality interest in celebrating their heritage without undue interference from government officials. Unlike similarly situated ethnic groups in Massachusetts, they are being systematically targeted based on their race and national origin. There is no other ethnic group in the state of Massachusetts that is being subjected to such unequal treatment by the misuse of government power.
