Next weekend, Tuscan Kitchen in Salem will team up with Phantom Gourmet as it hosts the second Italian Wine & Food Fest, celebrating made-from-scratch Italian foods and regional wines. Thousands of people from all over New England are expected to attend this tented al fresco event, taking place Saturday, June 22, at the Tuscan Piazza.
Tuscan Brands' founder Joe Faro and the Andelman Brothers will be hosts at the event. Michael Dutra will moonlight as Frank Sinatra, singing hits from the Sultan of Swoon's massive library. Those in attendance will sample more than 15 of Tuscan Kitchen's Italian street food — arancini, prochetta, meatball sliders, housemade gelato and more.
