Ellwood City Italian American Heritage Foundation members continued their efforts to preserve their heritage at their December and January meetings at the Wolverine Restaurant. In December, members worked on the Italian Heritage submissions that focus on recording their personal family stories. The next month, Dom Viccari led a discussion of the foundation’s plans for an Italian display at the Ellwood City Area Historical Society.

Officers gave their respective reports at each meeting. In December, Lucille Iannantuono was recognized for her photography work. Photos were presented to Guy Prestia, Louise Carroll and others. Elaina Lindner, ways and means chairwoman, was recognized for distributing 42 foundation T-shirts. T-shirt information is available by calling 724-758-0404.
