Italian-American heritage group to meet June 28

Phyllis Fusco taught several Italian phrases when the Ellwood City Italian-American Heritage Foundation recently met at the Wolverine Restaurant. Barbara Mastropietro, president, conducted the breakfast meeting, with Linda Heusing, secretary, and Sandy Douglas, treasurer, providing reports.

Mastropietro recognized the founding members of the organization and introduced Lucille Iannantuono who is in charge of members’ contact information and Elaina Linder of the ways and means committee. Linder presented the mission statement, the organization’s purpose and what the foundation is about. She also is taking orders for men’s and women’s T-shirts.
