The Cineteca of Bologna is one of the world’s most renowned film restoration centers, home of the Charlie Chaplin and Pier Paolo Pasolini archives. Each summer, it hosts Il Cinema Ritrovato, an acclaimed film festival featuring restored masterpieces and early silent cinema that has been described as “pure heaven for cinéphiles.”
