Composer Roberto Scarcella Perino's latest opera Furiosius, based on Ariosto's Orlando Furioso, with a libretto by Flora Gagliardi, will receive its American premiere in May, 2020.
The composer will be giving a presentation of the work in the company of Professors Eugenio Refini (NYU) and Lina Bolzoni (Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa), featuring selections of the opera performed by tenor Michele Angelini, accompanied by Steven Eldredge at the piano.
