First Coast Opera’s 20th season opens on Oct. 26 with a festive evening of dinner theater – “Pasta & Puccini,” a catered Italian dinner and a show. Enjoy scenes from Puccini’s “La Boheme,” performed by the opera’s guest artists, and a meal by Moveable Feast. St. Anastasia Catholic Church’s new community room is the location for this special one-night-only event.
The program will feature a shortened version of Puccini’s “La Boheme.” The opera features a love story that mirrors life’s changing seasons, from fresh beginnings to fading endings, with some of opera’s most enduring music. The performance will be given throughout the evening, alternating dinner courses with scenes from the opera.
