May 2 Symposium at Intesa Sanpaolo in NYC to promote Italy

Fernando Napolitano, President and CEO of the Italian Business & Investment Initiative and a panelist during the Frank J. Guarini NIAF Media Forum on April 3 in the NYT building, is hosting a spring symposium with presentations from 10 prominent EU originated startups with founders from Italy, Israel, Greece and the U.S. on May 2 in New York City.

Join us to listen to pitches from selected EU originated media and technology companies.
The Italian Business & Investment Initiative is an independent organization committed to promoting Italy originated startups as attractive investments for U.S. venture capital firms. Now operating in its 3rd year in New York, IB&II's biannual series of investment symposia in Silicon Valley and New York have been tremendously well-received, resulting in $5 million in investments and two successful US exits. This event is in cooperation with Intesa San Paolo Start-Up Initiative and Mind the Bridge of San Francisco.
As a results of its past investors day events in NYC, companies such as:
• Beintoo, HyperTV, Timbuktu, Savelli were able to secure funding from local investors.
This spring's symposium will feature presentations from 10 prominent EU originated startups with founders from Italy, Israel, Greece, US. While at various stages of development these companies have been backed by international venture capital firms. All are poised for global growth and most of them are actively relocating their HQs in the U.S.
We will be joined by Mar Peter Davis the founder of Interplay Ventures a serial entrepreneur, a venture capitalist at High Peaks Venture Partners, a blogger , a community organizer and the author of The Fundraising Rules.
After the business pitches, Q&A session will take place and the program will conclude with a networking cocktail reception.
