Around the Boston Design Center on the far edge of the city's Seaport District, Linda Liporto is known as The Showroom Queen. A principal with Boston-based construction management firm Corderman & Co., Liporto has been project manager for many of the highly individualized showroom spaces for well-known design and home-furnishing companies including Kravet/Lee Jofa, Waterworks and Stark.
Liporto spoke with Boston Business Journal Real Estate Editor Catherine Carlock recently about how she incorporates elements of graphic design and architecture into construction, mentoring women in the construction industry — and a unique definition of camping.
