As the Internet of Things (IoT) movement grows, we are seeing more machines talking to each other, known as M2M communication. This type of technology is especially interesting to big businesses like shipping and manufacturing. By making their machines smarter, these enterprises can gain greater efficiencies and avoid costly repairs and downtime.
Earlier this month, we took a look at the Italian IoT company called Wi-NEXT. Today let's take a look at another strong player in the M2M IoT market, a company called PLAT.ONE, that has offices in Bogliasco (outside of Genoa) and also in Palo Alto.
