Calenda will be visiting San Francisco and Silicon Valley with a business delegation, focused on biotech and the applications of IT to manufacturing. This will be a follow-up of Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi's visit here in September 2014. The Italian Government aims to make sure that Italian biotech and manufacturing companies take an active part in the current technological paradigm shift. It is also engaged in circulating information on the dramatic improvement of Italy's business environment following a series of reforms, including a labor law reform.
