Retirement always looked good on paper to Pensacola's Pietro DiBella. Weighed against the hours of daily work the Sicilian-born entrepreneur put into making pizzas, cooking pasta, managing people and servicing guests at Italy's Finest Pizzeria, the fleeting thoughts of spending his days gardening and playing with his grandchildren sounded like bliss to DiBella.
That was until he made retirement a reality. And when he did, he thoroughly enjoyed the company of his family, but otherwise found himself bored. His lifelong passion of bringing people together over homemade Italian cuisine yanked DiBella out of retirement until he fantasized about it again. Rinse, wash, repeat.
