
The Cultural Italian American Organization of Auburn will hold its annual Christopher Columbus Testimonial Dinner on Sunday, Oct. 11 at the Springside Inn in Fleming. The dinner will honor the Most Rev. Salvatore R. Matano, Bishop of Rochester, for his leadership in the Catholic Church communities and to recognize him as the first Italian-American Bishop of the Rochester Diocese.
The dinner will begin at 5:30 p.m. and is open to the public. Tickets can be bought in advance; they won't be available at the door.
