Marianna Randazzo, former Director of School Programs and newly appointed Commissioner of the Garibaldi-Meucci Museum, will present her newest book Italians of Brooklyn by Arcadia Publishing.
Raised, educated and employed in Brooklyn, Marianna spent the first 50 years of her life in the borough. Marianna will take her audience on a journey through the Italian enclaves of Brooklyn with a history of culture and traditions spanning over a hundred years. Her PowerPoint presentation and discussion will be followed by questions and answers and a book signing. Marianna has been the recipient of the NYSOSIA Grand Lodge Literary Award, 2016. Light fare will be provided.
