New York's 87th Feast of San Gennaro kicks off on September 12, 2013, and, will run through September 22, 2013. If you aren't familiar with this annual celebration, the feast takes place in Manhattan's Little Italy, and, it is both a religious and cultural celebration of Italian/Americans and Italians living in the greater Tri-State area.
The 11 day event features religious processions, parades, free musical entertainment every day, carnival games, and, food! Highlights of this year's festival include:
