Habitat for Humanity of Waldo County will once again transform the Shrine Club on Northport Avenue into an Italian bistro Saturday, April 21, for an evening of dining, games, a wine auction, and five drawings to win baskets of delights from area businesses. Event sponsors are Jam Brook Builders and Penobscot Bay Dentistry.
The event begins at 5 p.m. with appetizers passed to guests as they peruse baskets filled with treasures and gift certificates from local businesses. Prize basket contents are featured on Habitat’s Facebook page, and are on display until April 20 at Camden National Bank on Main Street. Tickets for a chance to win the baskets can be purchased at the bank, and winners need not be present at Café Italia to win.
