Members of Duluth's Italian American Club were hard at work Tuesday making many, many meatballs. The club was prepping for its annual Spaghetti Dinner at the American Legion. By the end of the day Tuesday, they would be making about 60 gallons of sauce and 2,000 meatballs.
"We have special spices that we put into our meatballs," said Jim Carroll, club member and one of the cooks. "They've got to be good because we have people coming back every year from all over Duluth."
