Monday, September 30, 2019. 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM MDT. History Colorado Center, 1200 North Broadway, Denver, CO 80203. You are invited to join us for the first History Colorado InSights & InPerson Series event. This program offers participants the opportunity to hear in person from individuals making history matter. Monthly, historians present insights into their work, with audience participation and dialogue encouraged.
The series starts with Italian historian and filmmaker Paolo Battaglia, who in 2014, traveled to 15 American cities to interview individuals in active Italian American communities. Denver was a stop on the tour. Clips of these interviews are featured in Battaglia's documentary, Italian American Country, which will be shown on September 30 in the Stephen H. Hart Research Center.
