"The Art of Designing Everything: The Life and Work of Massimo Vignelli"

A lecture on the work of iconic graphic designer Massimo Vignelli. Special guest speakers Professor R. Roger Remington, Vignelli Distinguished Professor of Design at the Rochester Institute of Technology, and Dr. Renato Miracco, Cultural Attachè at the Embassy of Italy in Washington, will highlight Vignelli's iconic work in a wide range of areas including package, houseware, interior, environmental, product, and iconic furniture design, public signage and showroom design.

The talk, moderated by Steven Litt, The Plain Dealer Art and Architecture Critic, will also emphasize Vignelli's critical role in introducing a European Modernist point of view to American graphic design.
