Roma Lodge Italian Festival 2014

Apr 04, 2014 1212

Each Roma Lodge member is assigned only 8 books of raffle tickets. All members are expected to sell or buy the minimum of 8 books to help support our great Roma Lodge.

The tickets are now available for pickup in the Hall of History. The Roma Lodge Festival Committee has met and reviewed areas of contributions for this year's festival. Below are the contributions to community healthcare to which the Roma Lodge Festival will pledge a total of $12,000:

1) $7,000 to Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare – All Saints Foundation for the
purchase of a Complete MaxiMove Patient Lift for Cardiac Patients.

Electronically-operated lifts take a great amount of risk and injury out of the patient lift process and transfers from bed to chair, chair to bath or commode, etc. The smooth, quiet transfer of a power lifter reduces patient anxiety and provides more focus on the patient being lifted. The easy use of a power lift reduces caregiver injury and provides more security of the patient during transfer. A battery powered patient lift operates by a hand control which is in turn powered by a rechargeable battery, allowing for maximum transportability

2) 3,000 to Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare – All Saints Foundation for the
Racine Health Care Network. The Racine Health Care Network, Inc. is a non-profit agency providing free or low cost health care to residents of Racine County who are medically uninsured and have a limited income. Services are provided at the Health Care Network office and throughout the County by health care professionals who volunteer their time, offices and skills.

Services: Free or low cost medical and dental visits Free or low cost diagnostic tests Pharmaceutical assistance
Information and referral to specialists & community health agencies
Spanish language interpretation

3) $2,000 to Aurora Healthcare Foundation – Aurora Cancer Care – Racine Clinic

With more than 20 convenient locations, Aurora Cancer Care's service experts put you first in the fight with a philosophy of patient-centered care. team works with you from day one—treating you at cancer network of caregivers, so you remain close to home.
