If you're looking for a slice of Italy... Look no further than Downtown Clinton! The Little Italy Festival is in full swing. The event has been a Clinton favorite since 1966. The Italian theme seemed natural at that time, since the city had a thriving Italian immigrant population.
While the festival is a long-standing tradition, even younger participants can find the beauty in its history. "I was actually talking to one of my old kindergarten teachers and they told me about the guy that came here," said Anthony Arnold, Festival Participant, "They told me all about them and how they started it. It was pretty cool."
