The UNICO Chapter of Kenilworth recently organized a coat drive to collect new and used coats in good condition, hats, scarves, and gloves for people in need this winter season. Laura Morana the Chapter President partnered with an organization in Newark that expressed a necessity for these items to help those less fortunate.
The coat drive was held on Jan. 30, and a second coat drive will take place on Saturday, Feb. 6. at the Municipal Building parking lot from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. All donations are greatly appreciated. Clothing items collected on Jan. 30 and Feb. 6 will be dropped off after the drive on Saturday in Newark for distribution. If you are aware of anyone who may be in need of coats, gloves or scarves, please reach out to us [email protected].
