The Coalition of Italian American Organizations of Delaware County (CIAO Delco) welcomed thousands to the 10th Annual Italian American Heritage Festival at Rose Tree Park last Sunday. The event celebrated Italian American heritage and culture in the Delaware Valley.

With the this year’s theme, “A Salute to Fallen Heroes … Never Forget!,” CIAO Delco and Festival attendees gathered at the Memorial sites at Rose Tree Park for words by James Reardon, Delaware County Law Enforcement Memorial, and Richard Heffernan, Delaware County Fallen Firefighter and EMS Memorial. Blessings were offered by Monsignor Ralph Chieffo, Saint Mary Magdalen Parish, and Monsignor John Savinski, Our Lady of Perpetual Help.
