The 111th St. Ann’s Italian Street Festival in Hoboken drew in hundreds on its fourth day, a welcome surprise to organizers and vendors after last year’s cancellation. The COVID-19 pandemic had brought one of Hoboken’s most notable events to an abrupt halt last year. But now as the country begins to turn a new leaf, the organizers of the festival decided to bring back the beloved street fair, and to remarkable success.
Patrick Pasculli, former mayor of Hoboken, helped organize the festival this year. As president of the Holy Name Society for the parish, it has been his responsibility to pull together both the festival and the novena masses for St. Ann’s Day.
