It has become a rite of August. Hoboken residents celebrated summer with its annual gut-busting block party. The special event went off on Sinatra Drive under sunny skies and perfect weather Thursday night.
There was entertainment and drinks and some fine Italian cuisine -- four different kinds of pasta, meatballs, sausage, eggplant parmigiana, salad, bread and Italian desserts. The desserts and coffee was provided by Del Frisco's Grill. The wine, beer, water and soda was sold by the Hoboken Ambulance Corp. And the entertainment was courtesy of Zack Alexander, the 2016 Sinatra Idol winner.
