The Westfield Public School District superintendent said the district mistakenly did not name Columbus Day on the school calendar for the coming year and will be returning it to the calendar.
“The absence of Columbus Day listed by name on the 2022-2023 calendar was an inadvertent omission when the document was reformatted for the coming school year,” said Superintendent Raymond González in an email Tuesday.
