Italian design house Zagato has taken to the Tokyo motor show to reveal its IsoRivolta Vision Gran Turismo, which will star in the new Gran Turismo Sport video game. Named after the Milan-based automaker Iso, the IsoRivolta features a bespoke chassis and is powered by a 6.2-litre twin-turbo V8 from a Callaway Corvette.
According to Zagato, the IsoRivolta develops 997hp (743kW). There’s no torque figure mentioned, though the company claims the twin-turbo coupe can sprint from 0-100km/h in just 2.7 seconds on its way to a top speed of 365km/h (227mph). The Zagato IsoRivolta Vision Gran Turismo is said to weigh 1129 kilograms, while drive is sent to the rear wheels via a 10-speed sequential automatic transmission.
