Sons of Italy Tradition Alive and Well as Festival Preparations Begin

It's that time again when the Sons of Italy in Bellaire are doing what they do best - making sausage.

They've been hard at work all week, getting ready to serve grilled sausage sandwiches all weekend at the Upper Ohio Valley Italian Festival.

They've been doing this for the entire 32 years of the Italian Festival and this week, they have cut up 850 pounds of onions and 700 pounds of meat.
