Assemblyman Chad Lupinacci (R, C, I – South Huntington) recently joined the Sons of Italy in America in honoring two dedicated members of New York State's thriving Italian-American community and celebrating Arturo Toscanini Lodge's 55th anniversary. Peter and Edith Zuzolo, two founding members of Long Island's Arturo Toscanini Lodge, were celebrated at the 55th Anniversary Gala Dinner Dance for their outstanding achievements and contributions to the Order of the Sons of Italy in America.
"The Sons of Italy in America is an organization which is dedicated to embracing and enriching the Italian-American community in New York State. Former National and State President Peter Zuzolo and National and State First Lady Edith Zuzolo are two devoted servants to this cause," Lupinacci began in his opening remarks, while presenting the two honorees with a New York State Assembly Citation. "The remarkable accomplishments of Peter and Edith are a testament to the outstanding Italian-American community within our great state, which I am so honored to be a part of," Lupinacci continued.
