Saturday, May 16th at 3 p.m. the Garibaldi-Meucci Museum will host the presentation of the book John of Divinity by Louis Borelli and Dr. Vincent Maligno, a Staten Island writing team publishing their first novel.
John of Divinity is a powerful and timely novel inspired by spiritual encounters, exploring the meaning of God's teachings in the time of the Apocalypse. John Divine is sent by God to warn all of mankind of the Second Coming of Christ Jesus and to call the people of the world to repentance before it is too late. Under the tutelage of four Archangels, John grows and begins to understand his call. The reader is likewise drawn into this three-dimensional adventure of heaven, hell, and Earth.
After being inspired by several supernatural and spiritual encounters, Louis Borelli started to write this novel as a screenplay in 1996. After three years of research he teamed up with Dr. Maligno and the novel was completed in 2007, becoming a fast-paced and engaging novel that challenges readers to examine the world we live in and to consider anew the message of God.
The museum invites you to meet the writers of this quick read novel with a religious base. The admission is $10/$5 members including a light refreshment.
