SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- The 16th annual Festa Italiana kicks off on Friday. All weekend, more than 20 vendors will set up shop along Montgomery Street, offering anything from chicken riggies to sausage and peppers.
Although the delicious food is often the main draw for visitors, the festival also features live entertainment. More than 10 bands will perform on the main stage this year. Friday and Saturday will also feature the annual Politician Challenge and Open Bocce Tournaments. According to a longtime vendor, the festival has something for everyone.
