Italian-American Classics on Chicco's Menu

Soon-to-open venture Vincent Chicco's chef Aaron Lemieux may have a French surname that translates to "the best" and come from behind the line at brasserie Rue de Jean, but he has Italian food at heart. In a interview with Lemieux, he states his last meal would be his "mother's stuffed shells" and goes on to explain the item is "a classic Italian-American dish that is so heartwarming it will make you quiver."

That particular plate didn't make the first draft of his menu for Vincent Chicco's, but there's plenty of other pastas to pick from, such as a classic spaghetti with meatballs or a Sicilian Sunday gravy over cavatelli. Other quintessential Italian-American favorites like veal Marsala, veal picatta and chicken Parmesan are also on the list.
