Sicily is where this story begins. In the 1970s, while still a teenager, Joseph D'Angelo emigrated from Sicily to Brooklyn. In high school there he met a girl Anna, who also had recently come to Brooklyn from Sicily. They fell in love, got married and had a son, Frank, and a daughter, Danielle.
And all four of them now work in D'Angelo's Italian Market, which opened four and a half years ago at 35 Spring St. in Princeton. "We grew up in Brooklyn," Danielle said. "When my brother Frank got married, he moved to New Jersey to have more space for his family.
