One of Rhode Island's most iconic places is inviting everyone to participate in a brand new tradition. The first-ever summer festival on Federal Hill starts Friday and runs through the weekend, ending Sunday at 10 p.m.
“The business community (and) the residents all got together and we’re really excited about the opportunity to do this,” said Rick Simone, the executive director of the Federal Hill Commerce Association. The festival is expected to bring in thousands all weekend. That means big money and exposure to the businesses in the area.
