The arts and humanities define who we are as a people. Mark Robbins, president of the American Academy in Rome, will discuss the impact and the role of the Academy in providing unique and necessary support for American and Italian artists and scholars -- as well as Dutch, Russian, Australian and Syrian affiliates -- who live and work in a broad interdisciplinary community in Rome.
