From creamy fettuccine Alfredo to bowls of warm minestrone vegetable soup, Lorenzo's Italian Restaurant is the perfect Las Cruces destination to satisfy any Italian food cravings. Located at 1753 E. University Ave., across from the New Mexico State University campus, Lorenzo's is a locally owned restaurant that has been serving up some of the best Italian food in the city for more than 10 years; and is consistently voted among the top restaurants in the area. I've frequented Lorenzo's several times and have yet to be disappointed.
My most recent visit with my friend, Lorena, was no exception. Upon being seated we were served a basket of warm, freshly baked Sicilian flat bread, which I enjoyed dipped in a bit of olive oil and powdered Parmesan cheese. The delicious bread was an indication of more goodness to come.
