For classic Naples-inspired Italian food, stop by Red Rossa Napoli Pizza in Clive. Their pizza surprises most newcomers. "It's not what you expect. Most of the time it has to be eaten with a fork and knife," said John Hutchinson, director of operations. "You can't fold it like normal."
The restaurant seats 75 and offers pizzas people won't find elsewhere, Hutchinson said. "We use toppings that other places don't. We have mushrooms and cheeses you won't find elsewhere and 10 different meats and almost 30 different vegetables," he said. Hutchinson spoke with The Des Moines Register about the pizzeria.
