Family-owned Buona, The Original Italian Beef will debut in Chicago's West Loop on Nov. 24 and plans to celebrate the opening of its 24th store with free beef sandwiches. The 37-year-old fast casual’s newest location is at 804 West Washington Blvd., and is the second to open in downtown Chicago, according to a press release. There is seating for 56 at the 2,100-square-foot store which is designed with a mix of Chicago materials and classic modern elements. The location offers outdoor seating as well dine-in, carryout and delivery services.
The chain will give away free sandwiches to those in line before 10 a.m. on opening day. All diners will also receive scratch-off tickets good for free food and drink items and there will be a few grand prizes of free Italian beef for a year.
