Cioffi’s Fine Italian Food & Imported Products is holding a raffle to win a “Whole Family Pizza Making Experience". The cost of a raffle ticket is $15 and all the proceeds will be donated to the Dup15q Alliance. From the Facebook pages of Holden's mom, Lauren Weissberg and Anthony Cioffi, “February 28th is Rare Disease Awareness Day. In honor of that day, Cioffi’s would like to show the community it cares by supporting one of Springfield’s own. His name is Holden and he is a Springfield resident living with the rare genetic disorder Dup15q Syndrome.”
Cioffi’s is offering a chance for a family of up to five people to come in and make pizzas with their chef. Each entry is $15 and 100 percent of the proceeds will be donated to the Dup15q Alliance. The Dup15 Alliance supports and educates the families of people with dup15q syndrome as well as others not directly affected by it.
