This summer I finally watched The Sopranos. I know, call me trendy. It really was fun seeing all those North Jersey spots, and it was twice as fun to eat a really good meatball parmesan hero as I watched. What a terrific excuse to eat my favorite sandwich – North Jersey, the Sopranos, meatballs…a trifecta, so to speak. So, for five days I indulged in the first season of the show, while nibbling on five really great meatball parm heroes.
When done right, there is nothing like a good meatball parm hero. Juicy tender meatballs smothered in rich tomato sauce, topped with cheese and, for me, all tucked into a nice garlic bread. Yep, I always order my meatball parms on garlic bread. Try it. Trust me.
