The Waterbury Chapter of UNICO National is partnering with Meals on Wheels of Western Connecticut to hold a Pig Roast to raise funds to provide Columbus Day Meals to MOW recipients in the Greater Waterbury Area. The Pig Roast will be held on Sunday, August 13, at the Prospect VFW located on 218 Cheshire Rd in Prospect. 

The event runs from 12 to 6 p.m. with the grill serving from 1 to 4 p.m. Menu includes roasted pig, hot dogs, hamburgers, assorted side salads, beans, dessert, soda and beer. Price for adults is $25 per person and $10 for children under 12. All proceeds will go directly to Meals on Wheels of Western Connecticut.
