Sunday, May 6, 2018 | 2 - 4 p.m. | 5th floor Mueller Center | Senator John Heinz History Center, 1212 Smallman Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15222. Your chance to talk all things wine with one of the nation's leading scholars of American wine history has arrived! Purchase Tickets: $20 for the general public and $10 for History Center members (both include admission to the museum). Space is limited, and advance registration is required for this program.

Join Smithsonian Curator Paula J. Johnson for a fascinating conversation on the history of wine, food, and Prohibition in conjunction with the History Center's Italian American Program and the American Spirits: The Rise and Fall of Prohibition exhibition. Johnson will describe her work documenting wine history, explore the influence of home wine-making in Pittsburgh history, and be joined onstage for a conversation with Pittsburgh home wine making guru Ron Casertano of CFP Winemakers. Following the conversation, enjoy homemade wine from local winemakers.
