The impact of gastronomy is now being felt beyond the kitchen — recognizing this, S.Pellegrino announces the return of S.Pellegrino Young Chef, a global culinary competition that facilitates access to the gastronomy community, enabling young talents to demonstrate their personal beliefs.
Applications for the first stage of the competition are now open; each of the 12 regions will search for the top 10 to 15 young chefs. The 10 successful applicants from North America will be announced on June 7, 2019 and compete in New York City in late 2019 at the North American Regional Semi-Finals. The North American winners will go on to compete against the winners from the other 11 regions at the Grand Finale in Milan, Italy in 2020.
