The Italian-American Cultural Club is planning its annual fall fundraiser, “Festa Del Vino,”, on Friday, N for Nov. 9 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at St. Florian Hall in Wintersville. The doors will open at 5:30 p.m. “Plan to experience an evening in Italy,” an event spokesperson said. “There will be a variety of Italian wines, authentic Italian foods and Italian desserts.”

The entertainment will include performances by a number of past winners of the “Valley’s Got Talent” competition sponsored by the Ohio Valley Youth Network under the direction of Bobbyjon Bauman, network president. The cost is $35 per ticket. They are available in advance at Pittera’s Pizza and Scaffidi’s Restaurant or at the door. The event also will include a silent auction, an Italian (Chinese) auction, a “Pot-of-Gold” and a cash bar. The fundraiser supports the club’s scholarships awarded yearly and its summer camp, which hosts more than 100 children and teaches the Italian culture.
