On Saturday, Aug. 12, the village of Fredonia will host the second annual Italian Festival. The purpose of the Italian Festival is to promote the culture, food, music and heritage of the Italian ancestry.
To that end, local restaurants will serve their Italian specialties, wine and beer will be served by a local winery and a local brewery, music will be shared by local performers, and genealogy will be facilitated by the local CIAO organization at the Barker Library and in the Barker Commons. There will also be activities for children.
