It is one of the sweetest traditions in Portland, the annual cookie bake for the St. Peter's Italian Bazaar. Wednesday, more than 60 volunteers helped make, bake and decorate these homemade Italian cookies for this weekend's 92nd annual bazaar.
The bazaar, which starts Friday and ends Sunday, is the largest fundraiser of the year for St. Peter's church. It helps fund their community outreach and youth programs, but they couldn't do it without all these volunteers, including two sisters in their 90s who make and knead all the dough.
