Artificial Intelligence (AI) aims to build computers that perform tasks normally requiring human intelligence. AI is already part of our everyday life: natural language processing for Siri (Apple), facial recognition for social tagging (Facebook) and next-best action for movie recommendations (Netflix). Leonardo da Vinci contributed with revolutionary inventions to the disciplines of AI (vision, machine learning, robotics, etc.)

Massimo Paltrinieri published his first international research paper on Artificial Intelligence in 1990, followed by several other publications edited by the American Association of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI), the American Association for Computer Machinery (ACM), the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), the National Agency for Space and Aerospace (NASA), the International Journal of Expert Systems and Springer Verlag. Mr. Paltrinieri research at Stanford University and at Ecole Normale Supérieure de Paris focused on artificial intelligent heuristics for complex combinatorial problems. Author of technology patents (US and EU), reviewer of international research journals, former Group Chief Information Officer for multinational corporations as well as former strategic consultant, Mr. Paltrinieri operates today as an independent senior advisor helping global market leaders to accelerate digital transformation and regularly chairs and speaks at international events. Mr. Paltrinieri is a member of the San Francisco Leonardo da Vinci Society, as well as the author of Genius, a theater play on Leonard's life, planned to go on stage in 2019.
